WebP → PNG with transparency kept
PNG keeps every pixel and the transparent background — the right choice for logos, icons and screenshots. MSGView converts WebP to PNG in your browser, one image or a hundred, without uploading anything.

Also AVIF, JFIF, JPG and GIF. As many as you like.
The example opens a built-in WebP image, so you can see the result first.

Convert WebP to PNG in 3 steps
- Drop the images Drag one image or many onto the page.
- Check the list Every image is saved as PNG, with its transparency.
- Download Download each image, or all of them as one ZIP file.
PNG or JPG?
PNG is lossless and keeps transparency, but photos become large files. For photos, JPG is usually better: switch to “JPG (PNG if transparent)” above the list.
Animated WebP
An animated WebP is saved as its first frame, and the list says so.
Your location stays private
The new file does not carry EXIF data: no camera, no date and no GPS location.
Questions
Are my images uploaded?
No. They are decoded by your browser and saved straight to your device.
Is the transparency kept?
Yes. PNG keeps the transparent areas exactly.
Is there a limit?
There is no limit on the number of images. A single image may be up to 100 megapixels; phones can hold less than computers.
