JFIF → JPG in one click

Questions

Can I just rename .jfif to .jpg?

Are my images uploaded?

No. They are decoded by your browser and saved straight to your device.

Why does Windows save .jfif?

A Windows registry setting maps JPEG images to the .jfif extension; images saved from a browser then get it.
