WebP → JPG: one image or a hundred
Many sites save images as WebP, which older programs and some forms do not accept. MSGView turns them into ordinary JPG files — one by one or all at once — right in your browser. The images are not uploaded anywhere.
Drag .webp images here
Also AVIF, JFIF, PNG and GIF. As many as you like.
The example opens a built-in WebP image, so you can see the result first.

Convert WebP to JPG in 3 steps
- Drop the images Drag one image or a whole folder of them onto the page.
- Check the list Each image gets a thumbnail and the name it will be saved under. Transparent images are saved as PNG so they do not get a white background.
- Download Download each image, or all of them as one ZIP file.
JPG quality and transparency
JPG is saved at 90% quality, which is hard to tell from the original; you can choose 80% or 95%. JPG has no transparency, so a transparent WebP is saved as PNG unless you choose “All JPG”.
Animated WebP
An animated WebP is saved as its first frame, and the list says so.
Your location stays private
The new file does not carry EXIF data: no camera, no date and no GPS location.
Questions
Are my images uploaded?
No. They are decoded by your browser and saved straight to your device.
Is there a limit?
There is no limit on the number of images. A single image may be up to 100 megapixels; phones can hold less than computers.
Can I convert HEIC photos?
Not yet. On an iPhone you can set Camera → Formats → Most Compatible to take JPEG photos.
